I think that one of the most important issues is exactly what information we need to make of copy of in order to resume service after the flahing even if it doesn;t happen until december. If this has already been addressed please direct to the link, otherwise, details would be appreciated

Do you use the MMS feature? I mean a lot or anything at all? I just checked the 5 that came along with it, but no Operator supports it here...

I´m really ansious for the MMS upgrade, because besides all the goodies MMS is free here in Portugal until 31 july and the it will be charged € 0.45 a MMS! I also have two friends with T68 and I can always send it to an e-mail box!
I want it now! Here in Portugal all the people that have buyed T68i and 3510 are enjoying MMS and I think V70 also have MMS (correct me if I´m wrong), so all this people are making me jeolous!
I wont buy a T68i just because I like my T68 colour better and my screen is better that any T68i ( I have one of the firsts T68 and already compared to several T68i and T68 of my friends because I work in a mobile store and my screen it´s the best in resolution and background light) My friends went nuts because their T68 are new and I have mine since December 2001!
MMS NOW!

Well I don't use mms.
My operator doesn't provide it, but even if it did, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't send any mms.
Maybe try one.. (if it was free), but it's not so funny to compose mms's.. very timeconsuming.
But it's neat that you can use pictures from the picture book.

mrNoodles> You said "5 mms".. be sure to check out the other two avaliable.. compose a new mms, and there's two more.

shawnmccall9> What do you mean with "in order to resume service after flashing?"
You won't loose your guarantee when you flash it..

el gato> i am not really sure to be honest. i assumed that information necessary gsm and gprs connections may be lost during the firmware flash. if only the easy stuff like adress entries and calender dates are lost then i have no reason to be concerned, but i thought that some of the basic subscriber settings may also be lost. i vaguely recall that you had some difficulty waping right after your upgrade, i am going to review that section and post more later This post was posted from a T68
