ok guys..I've just updated my phone with the se online service..I now finally have r2l....but the l'ho bug is still there....grr....unfortunately this bug only works if your phone is in italian...so if someone out there has a european phone please try to do what I'll now write and report me if u also have this bug on your phone..: switch your phone to the italian language, than pres back and go the the message menu, once u get there click on : componi nuovo (write new), click on sms, once u are in the typing mode just press two times 00, once done, press it once more and the phone will say : parola non presente nel dizionario (world not on the dictionary), once it said this the left button will display this : Contr.ort., press the left button and in the Modifica parola (spell) popup just write --> l'ho, and then press inserisci (add) . Once you've done this you will se the typing screen with l'ho written on it...just erase it by pressing the c buton until your screen is clear , and then write it again using the t9...so simpli press 5,1,4 and 6....and look what happens....with the italian language the phone simply goes nuts...PLEASE let me know if your phones do the same...

hi guys. i've just upgraded my phone to R2L via the online update. my K700i originally has R2A with TAIWAN language pack. everything works fine except that i can no longer receive any file (jpg, 3gp, gif, etc.) because the phone says "memory full" but the thing is i have 42MB free memory! i went through the update process once more but still i can't receive any incoming file either via bluetooth or infrared. i also did a master reset of the phone after the upgrade but it's still the same. anyone else experienced this? btw i also noticed before (when my phone was still R2A) that when i did a master reset the phone automatically loads the default theme (waip). but now after i upgraded to R2L via the online update service the default theme (waip) is not loaded automatically. what i got was a "blank" theme that is colored orange.

i have also read in one post that if your phone already has R2L and you tried the online update a warning message will say something like "the software in your phone is already the latest... continue: yes or no." anyway the message goes something like that. i think masseur encountered this message because he tried the online update but his phone is already R2L. i should've gotten a similar message when i went thru the whole process again but i didn't get any. the online update just continued on with the upgrade as if my phone was still R2A.

R2L001's menu seems slower and pictures take longer to browse and open.

I have upgraded to R2L and found the folowing changes:
Mark several option in messages,
Slideshow is now fullscreen,
The screen backlight seems brighter indeed,
Some icons have changed e.g. Connecting screen,
My K700i is now playing music when shutting down.

Now the main problem so far with R2L for me is BT connecting to internet on my iPaq through GPRS. It connects via Bluetooth to the phone but in no condition wants to connect to GPRS.. At the same time everything works charming via IR.
Anybody got the same problem?

@frozenwaffles, assuming its the problem introduced in R2L where it makes the BT connection to the ipaq but doesn't dial out then that problem is already answered in the K700 Firmwares overview thread. You need to add a Z into the ipaq dialling string and then it works

I also had a few problems connecting with my notebook computer and PDA until I noticed that my bluetooth headset was still connected to the handset after the call was over--it simply stays connected until I navigated into the Bluetooth menu, and chose devices, and disconnected my headset manually.

Afterwards, both my notebook computer and PDA connected successfully to my K700i.

Hope this helps.
