.cry files are encrypted for use with setool. The files are freely available to anyone with EMMA II access, Davinci are too lazy to download the files.

Just wanna know if the video of my s700i is jacked up or bugged... I read the manula and it says there that the video length has 2 options, the short(mms) or the unlimited(normal) well, i selected normal(unlimited as stated by the manual) and i can only go as far as 1min and 45 sec? is it really 1:45 only? or can some of you really record in unlimited time dependent on the memory, oh by the way, i still have ample amount of memory and how do i know the firmware version of my s700?

Thanks for yor explanation. Unfortunately I have the DSS-25 cradle, and it works only with the Davinci software.
I'll wait for their .bin files.

The problem Is I bought the phone online I live in New Zealand and the phone has come from hong kong.
I have a bug where the phone status keeps randomly popping up when i take the phone off standby.

Try calling Mobile fone repair (www.mobilefonerepair.co.nz) they have offices in Auck, Welly, Chch.
But make sure you tell them you want the unbranded software not the vodafone one. They will probably have to search the server for it.
