I've never had a can't be found message. Surely the file is either there or it isn't. If it isn't then how can sman see it at all? Weird.

The way I did it was to get all the folders in a temporary folder in documents on the D:.

I then created the folders in the right places manually - this was because transferring sub-folder structures doesn't seem to work. I then moved the individual files over.

Maybe you should try that.

Where you placed the folders in a temporary place in d: ? Do you have the list of where all the folders need to go?

I just made a temp folder in media files\document\unfiled. Not that it matters. It was just a place to have the tomtom files whilst I moved them about.

my d: has other apps on it and normally has folders like: documents, Media Files and system (with folders apps etc in it) on it. I created the following tomtom relevant folders: licences, voices and tomtom (there might have been more I forget now but they are all to be found in the folder you get from TomTom's website.

I created TTMOBILE and TTNAVCONTACTS folders in system\apps. TTMOBILE contains the TTMOBILE.APP file along with a few others.

I had the relative folders with the same names in my temp folder and then copied manually all the files in them to the ones with the same names that I'd created.

Yes you can. Maps from TTNavigator or a TTGO do work on TTmobile.
