Just look at the MAJOR differences in quality between the grainy pics of @masterp (no offence) and the absolutely flawless (macro) picture of the slazenger watch, which obviously was taken by a digital camera.

Yes and no.
You do have to have steady hand to take pictures with any sort of camera.
I think the problem here is that people are using things like auto focus in all the wrong moments.
As i've noticed a pattern that in many peoples pictures its really sharp in the centre but blurry around the edges. Then you get others who take pictures from a distance and is crisp all over.
