Back again!

Well i've just been told by O2 that they are sending a new phone out!!
I contacted the girl in the O2 office and I told her the problem and the fact that Craig had told me my new phone would arrive after the 7th of July.

She reassured me that the phone would be a 'fixed' phone. She said that all the replacment phones had been 'sorted'.

Well, we'll have to see

Hi,

A fixed phone! I just got mine 2 days ago, it doesn't freeze or crash (or has not done yet), but the bluetooth/headset thing is still an issue.
I emailed o2 and got a reply today, saying that it IS one of the new fixed phones.

Anyone know if the *latest* firmware fixes this problem?

If you look at the k750 firmware thread, it says that the firmwares R1J and R1L do fix the bluetooth headset problems.
But obviously introduce the new problems of video and picture quality.... which is why i'm going to wait until SE realease a working firmware update!

Would seem o2 are defining "fixed" as no longer has GPRS fault or crashes....i'm guessing they don;t know or haven't got round to fixing bluetooth

Yes, I was waiting too.

I just got an email from 02,

"I am sorry that you are unhappy with your Sony Ericsson K750i and Bluetooth Headset. As the order gm-xxxxxxx is within 14 days of purchase, you can return the order."

I'm not unhappy with either, per se, just that they don't work together at the moment as intended. If I wait for the firmware, and it takes longer than 14 days, can I still return the phone, if, after the upgrade, it still is not working correctly I wonder?

Gutten Tag,

I've noticed that wiping most of my games (I had 171 on the phone's memory card) has now cured the stalling issue. well at the moment anyway.

I just wondered how many games people are storing on the phone?

@adh2020
I was in the same boat which caused all the problems....up until 14 days you can without question or effort return the phone for a replacement or refund.

Up to 28days you can get a replacement

I wished to get a refund on day 24 on the grounds that they COULDN'T provide a 100% working handset before 28 days elapsed....caused a massive argument etc but technically within rights to do so....in the UK anyway according to Citizens advice and Trading standards (who called me after the event to ensure i hadn't had further trouble) they were most interested to hear that the O2 store HAD caused further trouble
