Nope. The 16MP one is SO006.
SO005 is Bravia Phone, the dual hinge clamshell with 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

SO005 is basically the S005 which is a Bravia clamshell 8 mp phone in Japan
And the SOY04 is S004 which a 12mp Cybershot phone with a 26 m color display.

would spend so much in the re development of these phones to sell them in US

In any case there is still a chance that the SO005 and SoY04 could be the new Xperias. LEts wait and see
Update: I can now confirm that these two phones SO004 and SO005 are indeed S004 and S005 CDMA KDDI phones. Neither is coming to the US or any other country for that matter except Japan.

hard to see..
there are a lot of these tablets at the market right now.. and there will more by entering BB and HP...
let Sony think before judge the situation of who the led of the market and focus about what they have lost before .. music devices market and Walkman brand,
also with their phones which it seem to me not well with still launching a piece of crap like Yendo

Considering that iPod Touch & available games in the AppStore market outsell ALL PSP and Nintendo DS models for the past 12mths I'd say its a HUGE market to appeal to. Utilizing current PlayStation ID accounts along with PSP licensed games with online downloads … this would be a logical move. BUT if Sony screws this up, then its useless.
