Seriously ,you must have had a f**ked up unit then. I have used the desire Z and though its miles faster than the X10, it doesnt put a scratch on the Arc.

Well that is strange, my Arc is really fast and snappy.
NEVER encountered any slowdown, using it for a week.

As for the battery read my previous post.

I was having quite average usage of the battery
but now I load it longer after it shows 100% and I am surprised
that by the end of the day my batt still has 55%.

Argh... Now that the HTC Sensation is official, can the Arc still be the one for me?!?!

Had the Desire before and REALLY liked it, made me a fan of HTC... I know the Sensation isnt as pretty as the Arc but will be be a better performer for longer?!?!

Even though the SE UI looks good, just what I need really, the new Sense looks great too!

I have seen a few videos of the Sensation, and yes it looks nice, and the new sense looks very polished too, but I am loving the Arc and can't see me changing this beauty for sometime yet.

I like you had a Desire before, and if I hadnt of bought the Arc then I may have seriously considered buying the Sensation, as its a worthy upgraded to the Desire.

No physical buttons means no buy for me.

Such a shame HTC is going all capacitive.

If is going to stick with the physical buttons I guess I'll stick with

They might be a little late to the party, but you can be pretty sure will bring out a device with specs similar to the Sensation, but better looking, unlockable bootloader, faster updates (who would have thought ), better camera, etc...

In the mean time, I just ordered 2 Arc's from Handtec

Thats good to hear from a previous Desire owner... I'm bloody using a BB Curve due to work at the moment and its driving me crazy!

3G??? I wish!

How do you find the SE's UI compared to Sense? I really like parts of Sense but SE's launcher looks right up my street...

@Bonovox - Yeah, not the best of names... "Hey, look at my new sensation!"

@Hyper - Got a good point there, not really a capacitive fan myself... Definately prefer the physical but would be willing to try out the Sensations... There is so much great talk around the Arc that I'm really hoping your right about SE, could be such a great come back... Hopefully the next device will be like the P800 days!

Got my misty silver Xperia Arc since 7th April.
My impression: HTC Desire Z is far better than Xperia Arc except the camera. It doesn't mean that the Desire Z camera is bad, it's good, but Arc simply better in this department only.

With almost the same apps installed on both devices, my Arc performs very slow, slower than Desire Z.
Opening an app took much times than Desire Z.
It is very very slow. So frustating.

I'm really disappointed with Xperia Arc.

One more thing: HTC Sense is better than SE's UXP.

I will stick to my Desire Z and buy the new HTC when available, may be the HTC Sensation.

I'm sorry SE, you're disappointing me again.

It is a very fast device just poorly built with crap battery

Name one Android phone that has a long-lasting battlife...as one video review of Motorola Atrix which has 1900mAh, the person did said that the battery wasn't outstanding either.
