Hi all. Does anyone know anything about D-One phones here in Indo? I saw one today, dual GSM SIM. Not a bad looking phone for 1.6 mil or whatever.

I'm curious about these phones if anyone has any info.

what's with that? very limited info i'm afraid, but as far as i know, any kind of DUAL SIM card mode phones don't perform well......otherwise, Nokia or SE have manufactured one

D-One is one of a bunch of Chinese's made/brand phones currently available in Indonesia.
Most of them (Chinese Phones) have these charateristics :
- Dual SIM : GSM-GSM or GSM-CDMA
- Touchscreen (but handwriting is sucks!)
- Don't expect anything like PDA Phone thou it has touchscreen, it has no smartphone features
- Almost similar operating systems (don't know the name yet) and user interfaces
- Good specs with relatively low prices (dont know yet about the quality)
- No 3G
- Poor connectivity support
- A lot of Analog TV Phones available

Recommendation : you'd better buy any branded one.

- 1.3 Megapixel Camera
- MP3 Player
- 2 batteries in package (most of Chinese phones have 2 batteries in package cuz of poor battery capability)
- No bluetooth, no infrared (most of Chinese phone have no bluetooth nor IrDA)
- Data Cable (thanks God... it's included)
- Only 12MB phone memory (no card slot)
