keep in mind it's running a pre-release sw, but nevertheless it is quite worrying to see the system shut down so fast after a few seconds. at least you can cool your z3+ in an ice bucket

Nothing new about anything for later this year. Who knows if there's any truth behind the rumours for new phones at IFA...
Sony Australia did say the following about z3+ release:
"We aren’t planning to range the Xperia Z3+/Z4 in this market at this time"
Now I don't know if this decision will change, or if it was incorrect info given by a Sony employee. Guess time will tell whether the phone will be released here or not.
But if indeed it is NOT released, then it's very likely we'll see a new flagship at IFA or whenever. As I doubt they would want to keep the z3 as a flagship device in Australia (or any other market for that matter) up until the next announcement, which would be either CES or MWC 2016. That would mean the z3 would be flagship for well over a year if they waited til either of the above 2 events. (Released October 2014 here)

Z3+ will not be sold by sony in my country as well. not surprising at all though. nobody really expect it to sell outside of selected countries as they did not announce it to the world in an event. that is another support for ifa announcement. regardless, they are most likely to announce 3 new flag phones at ifa, the devices are not a rumor - variant codes officially revealed by the Indonesian site.

. I am eagerly waiting for E6833. Hope they bring the split screen for the next ultra. I quiet liked the one in ios 9 yesterday. 6 inch 2K metallic ultra sounds terrific
. I kind of hate Sony about the leaks. There are still none for ifa products.
Seriously IFA will have Sony phones. Can't really say Z5 series or the Z4 Compact and Ultra series though. Time will tell.

Until I remember that Sony registered E68xx, E58xx, and E66xx in POSTEL. because Exxxx is 2015's model number coding, so I'm 95% positive that they will announce Z5 (E66xx) this year along with Z5 Compact (E58xx) and Z4 Ultra (E68xx)
