@dibdin more than likely now I shall wait for the Pro. I have a Mini Pro and love the hardware keyboard.

Samsung Galaxy Apollo is one such phone with Android that I have owned and lasts three days with heavy use. The Arc is defo fast but has poor plastics for its price imo and a battery that after a few charges never lasted the day. Was sad

Really? 3 Days?
I read on GSMarena people said that they worried about battery backup, some say it's frustating and hardly get 1 day....

My Desire Z is still in its original ROM, never rooted nor customizing ROM.
I compared both phones in almost the same conditions: ported all messages, emails, and Facebook, Whatsapp, and a lot of apps from Desire Z to Xperia Arc. I'm also using SPB Shell 3D in both phones.
And the result is as I wrote before.

Today I made the Arc reseted to its factory setting, deleted many SMS, re-install only some apps (not installing apps that took memories such as SPB Shell 3D, Google Earth, etc.), and it is now normal and super fast.

But I still worry if I have to install other apps and when my messages become large, Arc will be slower again.

PS: I didn't do the same to Desire Z, it still has many apps.

@doministry: i found ArcMedia, and the final fantasy mp4 lagged, so no need to even try some mkv's

@Tsepz_GP: qqplayer was not that good, even the preinstalled final fantasy mp4 video lagged
