Guys!
That P800 is well expensive!!! It will come down i think when it is released, but not really by very much.... you've seen how expensive the Nokia Comunicator is.....
Not suprisingly i am still doing coursework, geography now, and it is getting interspliced with stints on Multiplayer Wolfenstein, i'm addicted!!! Anybody else play multiplayer games??

Nah, SNES Mario Kart was way better
I used to play Quake and Quake II online lots... especially Action Quake II, which I followed from its Beta days through to being the mostp popular mod

. I was in the top 100 Q2 players in the world at one point. It's still the best multiplayer game I've ever played.
And just as a thought, now that *every* PC game has some sort of multiplayer online aspect, how do they possibly expect there to be enough players online at any one time for any one game? I mean, when there was just Quake that had proper, easy multiplayer, all the online players played Quake. Now there are hundreds of FPS, RTS, driving and flight sims that use Gamespy arcade or whatever, all the players are diluted among those - so there aren't as many new levels, clans, players and community. Dilution is crap. What do you guys think?

I think that there are enough online gamers. Perhaps there are not as many as there were before, and yes it is because of the new games. But can a new game now really be released without a multiplayer aspect as it has become part of a game, playing against real people. There will always be enough players for the popular games though because they are just so good. Other gaming types maytake away a few of the players, but not totally as many do own multiple games so they are not concentrated on just one. I think though online gaming is just going to get bigger and bigger, with Xbox Live hitting soon, and the advent of more affordale broadband.
Does anybody have broadband? It really annoys me that the area i live in has a telephone exchange with room for the broadband kit, but BT won;t put it in because the demand is big enough. Also it annoys me how they just want to make money and class 'demand' as a business iser who will obviously be spending more than a home user.
