Can someone (with inside knowledge) confirm/deny that the P1 design is dead? I love my P1 and would LOVE a S/F P2/P3 or whatever it is to be called. Like I ponted before they could fully utilise the dead space between the screen and keypad to make it a 2.8" with the relevant specs and I'm sold. At this stage I'm not too keen on a fully fledged touch-screen phone a la 'Idou'/Iphone/Omnia, etc.

Uh the A200 and allthe other platforms are built on java maybe thats why? Anyway its just most likely to boost gaming on their phones. If they do and surpass n-gage level of gaming and bring it a bit higher then yay i can surely deal with that.

A200 built on Java? you're wrong. I guess that's because of word 'platform' - A100/A200 platform and Java platform. ok, but they are two different things. notice that all most known, not only, phones have Java platform. Java as runtime environment for 3rd party applications and games is in mobile phones since many years and their software platforms are not built on Java. it would be insane to say that S60 is built on Java, even not true for old Nokia's S30 series. please do not mix Java runtime environment for 3rd party apps and games with phone's OS either software platform. maybe pic below will help to see what is where

Don't know why most people think that all non-smartphone OS-es are Java based. It just isn't possible to create an OS using Java.
