I miss not having the integrated timescape widget on the main screen, with the Arc at present you can only have either FB, Twitter, Messages not a combination of both, which seems a little strange. I liked the X10 widget which basically showed everything (email, FB, messages, etc).
thats interesting as i dont like unified inboxes and didnt think i would use the widget, but if its just one i could...

Weird, the Arc I have does not flex at all, so no creaking. Battery cover is a perfect it. Was yours a prototype or something? Maybe the battery cover was defective from the mould and was the cause of the problem?

My Arc turned up this morning and I have to say, I'm extremely impressed.
It's night and day compared to the X10. Even after using the Arc for 10 min, grabbing the X10 was like a step back in time. Anyone who thinks it's just a small upgrade (i.e. people who don't have one) is on crack

I can only agree with what most people are saying here, the build is solid. I'm really happy with the Arc so far but I do miss the latest version of the calendar in X10, it is like taking a step back going to andriod default, especially as the email client has been updated to. what the X10 calendar was like. Maybe we'll get it back in a future update. The screen and responsiveness is amazing and the few grams they shaved off the weight compared to X10 makes a big difference.

I've read that the Timescape widget plays a major role in battery drain... Maybe people can test it out and see how much they get out of the battery without the widget...

A prototype?? WTF?? Come on,it was sold to me for £419

I still think it's a great phone but for that price it's longevity is questionable

If you start the timescape app and go to settings, it allows you to set which feeds you want to show (also applies to the widget). I added the timescape linkedin component, but that slows the phone down and every now and then crashes the top bar, so I turned it off again.
