i got curious about the T39 battery concerns being raised at the other forums so i wanted to know how my standby time compares with the rest of you guys.

all phone models are welcome to reply. Please follow this format:

Model, FW, HW, voice calls, data calls (GPRS/WAP), SMS use, estimate standby time

T39, R4A008, R1A, light, heavy, light, 3-4 days max

Signal strength contributes too on a phone's battery consumption. If you're always at a location wherein your rssi (radio signal strength indicator) is, more often than not, full bar or scale, you're likely to have more talk or standby time as compared at a location where rssi is always weak. Inside our shop there's no signal at all so I use a homebrew diversity antenna (passive) then i get a consistent 4 bars (fluctuating to full scale) if my fone is about a foot away from the indoor antenna.
