ok, to start at vlam's request, i got banned from driving for 3 speeding offences (66 in 40 - 6points, 77 in 40 - 3points, 98 on mway - 3points) which totalled 12points, which in Britain = instant 6month ban
i didn't say i'd rather walk than ride, i just said i refused to ride! i actually preferred to be a freeloader and catch lifts everywhere!

My bill here in Canada is usually around $130 Can, so that is around 50 pounds.
I have been lucky to not get busted for my driving here as there have been some recent things the police are cracking down on. At least there aren't camera's everywhere here.
