Quite a few reasons
1. NTT DOCOMO is one of the major partners of
and the biggest in Japan.
2. Xperia X10 has been one of the best selling smartphones in the NTT DOCOMO line up this year
3. X10 has probably sold more units in Japan than any other country. So its natural for
to value the Japanese market.
4. It might be something to do with SONY. SONY always launched their highest grade products first in Japan and then the rest of the world. And since the X11/X12 both are EXTREMELY cutting edge smartphones its natural that NTT DOCOMO gets em first.
And last but not the least,
5. Because it has been confirmed and its OFFICIAL. We aren't talking about any "rumour" here. SO-01C and SO-O2C are both most definitely in the list of the phones to be unveiled in 24 hours

But its always BIG IF ITS A SINGLE
EVENT
THAN ANY CO-EVENT
if X11/X12 are extreme END phones..
Ya maybe they will announce X11/X12 later ...
I wud Prefer
event than docomo.

event will be for the Global announcement.Expect it to happen anytime within 10 days

X12 WILL ship with the newest version of Android i.e 2.3
Though 2.3 is not officially announced all Android partner brands have received 2.3 version. So rest assured it will ship with Gingerbread
Remember its only being ANNOUNCED in 24 hours, won't ship until Q1 2011

According to
this site, Sony Ericsson will be the part of the lineup with SO-01C, SO-02C and SO-03C.
Another site has a seemingly comprehensive leak of the upcoming lineup, yet not even single phone from Sony Ericsson is listed there. X11/X12 (or whatever docomo names them tomorrow) might be announced, or might be not. IMHO.

I personally feel that both the phones are for the Spring collection more than anything. Asking SE to have these phones ready by Jan is like asking Steve jobs to start using Android.

Tomorrow is the Unveiling of NTT Docomo Winter
SPRING 2010-2011 collection. So in any case two new Xperia phones will be announced tomorrow

The other site doesn't really have a "comprehensive" list of phones as they list only 23 phones. Whereas the actual number of phones is 40+ and you can also verify that the a significant number of phones that were mentioned by the first site have been leaked. Some guy got hold of the Docomo winter lineup catalogue and posted pics of a few phones.
