It has the features i need, so it's quite possibly going to be my next phone. I'm holding out 'til Xmas as there are bound to be a wider variety by then, and since i've used a number of different phones over the last 10years i don't mind changing to a different manufacturer. Got back to Cape Town this evening and it sure feels good being back home.

Interesting thing I saw at Joburg International was a massive billboard for the K750 something which means the phone will be heavily marketed in the next couple of months.

I was in Jozi attending the announcement of the results for the Development Bank of SA, unfortunately our Finance Minister Trevor Manuel could not attend. Had to endure a boring, actually two boring speeches...first from the CEO of the bank and then the Director-General of the Treasury....after that I reached for the nearest Amstel when it came time for lunchtime snacks...somebody needs to tell these technocrats to inject some vooma into their speeches.

@Kryptik: Go for the P910i...apart from the 3G you won't be missing much coz it's got everything that the S60 but only more stable.

@Brix, it certainly does seem that way. I've been perusing threads related to the Pxxx, and it's far more stable than S60... The K750i seems to have more than it's fair share of crashes, but that's probably due to newish firmware. This message was posted from a Nokia

@Kryptik: It's always the same thing...if you're first to buy a new model SE you'll experience problems...like the Japanese electronics market, you'll end up inadvertedly being a beta-tester at your own expense. I always laugh at these ppl braggin they're the first ones on the block with a certain phone...only to find out later there are small annoying bugs. Compared to the K700 the K750 hasn't had as much complaints but SE
could do a bit more in ensuring that new phones come out bug-free.

@786KBR: I was living at the Protea in Midrand, next time I'll pay you a visit. PS: While on the highway saw a magnificent mosque in the background. This message was posted from a K700i

So how was Vodaworld? Did you go?

And unfortunately thats a Russian Orthodox chuch!!! They bought the property first... looks nice hey, especially during the sunset!

We dont have a Mosque here as yet, the price of property in Midrand is very high, and location is becoming a problem..... as im sure you've seen all these little cluster houses springing up?!

Didn't have a chance to visit Vodaworld...will check it out next time I come up.
I thought cluster homes were supposed to be cheaper? But yeah, lots of cluster homes...my friend told me the main reason ppl bought them was for security. My cellphone experience: As expected good signal and average GPRS
speed all over the Jozi.

U rite they are cheap!! Cheaply made... Did you notice the selling prices of those clusters??? 300K for a small 2 bedroom!!! and thats the cheapest!!

GPRS here after 8 is sad, dont even attempt a 3g call!

I had a funny experience the other nite... at a party showing off 3g, but there was no signal!!! So know I ask, whats the damn point???

Its a novelty for one, but when you actually find time or purpose to use it you cant??? WTF???

We need some improvements here in SA!!

Yeah those homes are quite tiny but then again in CT you'll pay way more for the same size.
While at the hotel I got up to some mischief and blujacked a woman with her ancient 6310i...sent her a Vcard and she looked around confused when the message alert went off
