@talon
wait, don't make conclusion so soon. If you look up the thread, you will see a guy saying that he is using R5D, and with no problem in BT.
Also, I've confirmed that, the original phone which damped for the R5D has no problem in BT.
I think one of the cause of this problem is the upgrade from m to ie. ie and mc are the version of chinese, and m and i are the normal version. I can't confirm this, but at least most of us having the BT problem is upgrading from m to ie, right? I think if we upgrade from mc to ie, or ie to ie, it will have no problem...

Btw both my T68 have R6A Hardware revision....both of em flashed from Original T68m>T68i>T68ie.....R2BXXX>R2E006>R5D007 respectively.
Again BT works perfectly for both phones.

Check your hardware revision..it could be trigger of this....

Hi,

But...if it's only a hardware issue, when you flash back to the old, original firmware, Bluetooth must work again. But it doesn't work.

Maybe a small bug in the flasher software?

Today I flashed my phone with the firmware available at Alfamobil (http://www.alfamobil.cz/x/68.rar), it's the R5D007 with english and languages from eastern Europe. Bluetooth still didn't work. It's a full 10 MB flash, so, instead of splitting it in two parts, I used the language feature of the software. It stopped at 99% but the phone turned on and everything works fine, except Bluetooth.

I also tried to flash using the firmwares available (R5C, R5D, etc.) using different COM port settings. Didn't work.

I think once the firmware flash screws up BT, downgrading is not going to fix it..

Hopefully, the unlocker people can figure out what went wrong and let us hack the broken BT ones back into place..

Most Ericsson Client I saw were v6.52, once I dl-ed v6.53 but based on this thread it seems to be specific to where you buy the log credit. I saw http://www.alfamobil.cz/eric.htm listed v6.55, seems to be some bug been fixed dunno related between the flasher software and their server and/or to the phone.

Just a thought.

Guys, it might be a good idea for us to unlink the firmware files until we sort out this BT issue.. To prevent further problems with other users.. At least until a fix becomes available.

First off, waikincheng, I've read all of the posts about flashing, I just want to make sure of a few things.

Let me get this strait.
I am about to flash my T68->T68i
with the R5C001 file. There are two parts, the
ARM at 2,097,152 and the
AVR at 8,388,608.
I just want to make sure that:
1 - I have all the phone SW i need
2 - People have found that BT still works when flashing a T68 to R5C001.

Many thanks and wish me luck.
