Could someone give a guide on flashing w800i with the firmware files from TopSony using FAR+Plugin?

As I understand you use Davnici and the .bin files from Top SOny but don't finalize and then connect using FAR and edit the customize.xml and do a master reset.

Just not sure on the order of things and what bits to edit in the customize.xml

"SHUTDOWN IMAGE SEMC" - Animation OFF - GIF ( animation or image ) BMP, PNG.
"STARTUP_IMAGE_SEMC" - Animation ON - GIF ( animation or image ) BMP, PNG.
"splash" - Image ON - GIF (imagen, doesn't support animation) BMP, PNG.

Example:
Delete file "SHUTDOWN IMAGE SEMC" in :/tpa/preset/system/settings/

Edit any image and save in format GIF ( animation or image ) BMP, PNG. Saving with name "SHUTDOWN IMAGE SEMC".

Downloading program Abdaleon Utilities v. 1,0 Build 2 - Renamer " and with this removing the extention of the new file.

Copy the new file SHUTDOWN IMAGE SEMC in :/tpa/preset/system/settings/


Using the size of the image predetermined for each model.

Greeeeeaaaaaaat! I was just loking for something like this, especially to have higher levels of 4th and 5th band of equalizer.

No need to master reset, correct me if I am wrong.
(could anybody please tell when a master reset is needed after modifying or replacing phone files? thanks in advance.)

I noticed that when you lower levels below 8 value and confirm manual equalizer settings you cannot restore 12 value. Is there a way to keep 12 as maximum value for equalizer bands?

Btw, is 12 the maximum value for equalizer bands or I can even go further?
(I know i could try it myself but maybe you already know the answer)

how can i remove the recording sound? I mean when you record a phone call the person on the other end hears a beep. How can i remove that beep?

Yippeeee!!! I finally got my W750 (W800-K750 Hybid), lots of thanks to everybody on this forum. Well, it was the most anxiouw moments 1 ever experienced (well, 1st time flasher!)

First time flasher huh!

I was pretty terrified when I first flashed as well. Fortunately you can't mess things up so bad that your phone is unrecoverable. Best thing to do if you are interested in er... 'pimping' your phone is to tweak settings and see what happens. Worst case you have to go flash the file system again. (Unless you made a backup somewhere)

I've bricked my phone more times than I remember now, as well as a stack of wrt54g's and some GPS's but that's a tad off topic.

I'm living in the Philippines at the moment so if anyone wants any assistance (free) then drop me an email. Happy to help.

(I know i could try it myself but maybe you already know the answer) Edit tag "band_X" in settings.xml - this is value for equalizer bands in player (Õ - value of band)! edit it for needed, save file and power on! Without master reset. Default maximum value is 8! in attachment this value is 11-11-12-12-12. Generally don't throw down equalizer's settings otherwise you must set it again.
