12 months at £20. Damn thats wrong though

Basically we've made an instead loss for the contract of about £170!! Vodafone are stupid hehe buy law we don't have to honor the price

In the T&C's we can change the price at any point.

Spoke to someone at Vodafone regarding my free P990i. They apologised for the delay and said there was a problem with the website and it shouldn't have been free.
However, they are going to honour the free handset and it should be with me in the next 2 days or so.
Excellent!
Good to hear it and i expected as much.
Regards

Not stupid if you ask me. They'll make that money off me on call and data charges. Also, if things go well I may become a long term voda customer just because they honoured the deal today. Still waiting though, everyones got a P990 to play with already, Ive got none

Yeah - under those circumstances I think Voda are right to honour the deal, but in all honesty a lot of the people who ordered at that price were ordering speculatively on the basis they could sell the handset, pay off the contract and walk away with a nice profit. I know if I had actually bothered to order that is exactly what I would be doing.

True but even then, next time you see a good offer on Voda, you'll be less reluctant to take up that offer.

Have any current vf customers upgraded to the P990? If so, what kind of price did you pay? I've been with vf for many years. My last upgrade was the P900 when it first came out. My avg. bill is about £100 / month, but I have been quoted £150 for the P990 upgrade. Does this sound a bit steep? Gotta admit I'm thinking about changing supplier if I can get a better deal...

Julesct.. on your monthly spend I would expect them to give you a better deal on your line rental and also a free P990!

@mykkk: yeah maybe I should mention that I'm thinking of changing suppliers. Knowing my luck they'll simply give me the PUK there and then

Just so you know its PAC code not PUK

also try going into the store. I'm fairly sure it'll be free for you if you spend £100 a month on that one number. Also you maybe able to go onto the new tariffs with offers that new customers get
