Ive got myself the blue/grey one, but one thing i dont understand. When in the walkman mode. Some songs have a picture with them and some dont. Where is that picture stored? Is it attached to the mp3 and how do i change it? Btw its definately the best phone ive ever had.

Mp3 has the ability to store album art within the file itself (id3 tags).
I believe a good program to manage tags with is Media Monkey. You can right click a score of songs or so, press on Auto-Tag from Amazon.com, and it will automatically make id3 tags for the songs and download the album art into the song!!! It is a wonderful feature. So, if you want the quick correct and easy way to get album art, use media monkey per my suggestion
I think I am going to take the plunge and get a w580 even though its walkman is not as purrdy as the walkman 3 eye candy.heh.
Does the
W580i have a FM transmitter to use with a stereo a la LG Muziq? I would like to listen to the songs on my phone through my car stereo.

I am extremely disappointed at SE actually this might be the (w580) last SE i ever buy, first it was the p990 and the whole story that everyone knows about
now we know that they missed up their smart-phone division, so we move on and learn a lesson.
i was in need of a second phone to use and i found the w580 to be perfect for my needs. i knew about the cracking keypads but i didnt worry much about it since i know that they can be replaced by SE and i wont be texting much on it. so i ordered mine and i got 3 days ago everything seemed perfect until last night when i got a message before i sleep when everything was dark except the phone. i noticed that the paint on the silver direction button is pealing off and u cant see it unless you are using the phone in the dark during the day/light u cant notice anything ( Pictures below) with time it will probably appear during the day too.
i just dont understand why SE lately being this low with the material they use.
as u can see at the bottom left
i really dont know what to do especially that if i wanted to return it i would have to pay restocking fee + shipping :/ or should i contact SE about this ?
i really didn't see this coming
