@Tehy03
i'm not sure what will become of the m series. suppose it is possible that SE will continue to release a version of their flagship smartphone without a camera but it really doesn't seem like the no-camera experiment wielded positive results.
seems like the m series will just be remembered as the product that SE will base their future UIQ smartphones.
the only way i could see SE incorporating the flip design again would be if they used the m600 keypad instead of the numerical one and use the extra space under the flip for a bigger screen - like it was always meant too!

I would like to ask anyone who has ever used a P1i; how much faster it really is compared to P990? How long is it turning on?
What is a real price for that phone once launched?

Hi Ares,
Do you know what is the latest firmware that fixes the memory leak? I have an asian set and have updated mine to R9EA001. My p990i is a CDA162007/8 set...
Any information is very much welcome.
Many thanks!

Just installed the latest update to Salling Clicker (v3.5) and works like a charm over bluetooth controlling my MacBook. Had to choose the P990i as my handset when opting to install the client.
Will check it out over WLAN tomorrow as well. SHould work like a hcarm with other UIQ3 handsets - incl. the P990i of course.

Hi everyone, I'm new!! I really like this SE's phone. I've to say that the lens-cover that's not there disappoints me a little, but if it's not there it's not there...
I like the form factor, simple but with a certain style anyway. The main interest features are to me the good camera, the wi-fi and the touch screen.
I've some questions about these three:
1- The P1i dosen't have the dedicated zooming buttons, how do I use the zooming feature?
2- I've red somewhere that the b wlan protocol may be desabled in some wlan area ( I'm a student my concer is whether I can surf the web in my faculty with this phone. There's a wlan connection I think it supports both protocols ), this because the b transferring speed may be a bottle-nek for the entire g enabled devices that share your same network. Is it possible that the usability of the wi-fi could be decreased by this issue?
3- About the touch-screen, can I use this feature as the hand in the PDF reader in my laptop to serf web pages, or i have to use srcoll bar at the sides of the screen?
Thanks guys, I've never had a SE, I hope this phone will be not priced too high!!!! ( 600 euros is too much for this one, my opinion ).
