Yes, I believe they've hastily put out a firmware version and part way through rolling out realised it didn't have all the features they said it would so stopped the full distribution until it's fully ready. I have complete faith that they will have the full release ready at some point in the next couple of weeks and that it will available to everyone and with a newer, different name rather than the R1DA032. I suspect it will be an R2 firmware as it's a fairly major upgrade.

The other theory in my mind is that the current latest R1DA032 was a firmware upgrade that was supposed to be released in month and they stopped the development of it when they decided to do the 'upgrade' with the everything else (e.g. conversation view in SMS). The partial release of the partial upgrade is just confusing people.

I do support those theories. I'm on R1DA032 (latest as they say) but missing some promised upgrades.
I'm betting three months for a complete upgrade. But also hoping it won't take that long.

I bought my C905 from the middle east so its firmware is the ME AFR (middle east africa) running the 1205-9079 R1BA042 firmware, and evertime i try to update it over SEUS it says its the latest.. so i think Ricky D has a point and the stopped it for now untill they can give an upgrade with all promised features... the only problem is that they hyped everyone for this then didnt deliver .... but if anyone bought theirs from the middle east and has the upgrade llet me know

Ok im on Western Europe 42

Want to switch to the new Firmware, my phone is constantly crashing, keypad is lit up, but black screen, like it restarts randomly.

Which is the best Region to go for, for R1DA032?

I'm On O2 Uk

Already flashed 3 times with R1BA042.

Still randomly crashes, asif what im asking it to do is too much!

Anyway, have updated to Hong Kong R1DA032.

Need to change phone language and writing language!

EDIT: HongKong Firmware, you can't turn the shutter sound off!

The new firmware R1DA032, does have conversation chat thing.

Under inbox, it has a new tab at the top, looks like a white document with black lines.

If you switch over to it, and click on the persons name from the text, it comes up like speech bubbles.

Plus under message, where sent messages and that lot are, inbox is also shown there!

So Nothing is missing from this firmware? Wayfinder shows 7, but is actually 8.

Smile shutetr is nothing to get excited about tbh,

Tempted to flash back over to W-Europe R1BA042...
