t9space is a fairly okay server - you get speeds of up to 60kbps, but a download limit of 30mb
the other proxies (posted by sitnet) you get no limit, but speeds are kind of slow, only reaching around 30kbps-40kbps (45kbps if you're lucky)
Lets try to find a quicker server!
I agree! Let the hunt begin!!!
I have been scouring the web for fast servers for the last week, but haven't made any substantial progress. I am a member at some very good forums with very talented network admins and developers and I am also asking around there. The thing is that I can't really mention the it is for free internet, because they are super anti piracy and crime, if you want to call it that. So I am waiting for replies there too. And all the people the understand the language the guys speak in Asia pacific forums, please go ask there, I'm sure they will know a few good servers.
Good luck!

About free MTN internet:
I have tried with 2 different handsets byt couldn't get anything to work. The problem is that I can't find their free site. The homepage in the default internet settings is not free. The address is
www.mtn.co.za/wap .
If we can get a free site it is basically the same as Vodacom settings.

Here is some good proof that CGI is the slowest:
http://clamcoffee.com/
Go to that website.
EDIT: I have found a big problem: You can not use the dot trick with PHP proxy. It looks like it only works with CGI. But I may be wrong.

@msypours
Cgi trick is working in om4.2 and om5 anning is using it.
About the glype, its your default browser, cause that happens to me also. I think the push or GO button is not supported by the phone.

Good news Leodusme!
To download at fast speed use your default browser like this:
Go to enter address and put in: live.vodafone.com.1h1.net
In that box put a download address (copy and paste it form OM 4.2 or 5), and click go. Check out that speed! :)
EDIT: found a problem: Sometimes it downloads the file but it is only 1 KB large and it is called browse.php.
Why?
