middle, very sharp.. sharper than the 808 on auto

edge.. no bueno

This one seems to be a particularly good example of how bad the image is. Surely this is either a faulty unit, or user error ? or a dirty lense ? the blurring is a total mess and I don't believe Nokia would release a phone with this problem as their flagship.

You can see the blurring almost immediately - almost like its been done deliberately. I don't believe that shot is by far a very good example of what the phone can do.

@etaab Nokia did this before with the 920. Early release the images were like this and updates improved things. Problem is the 920 is still blurry at the edges.

It certainly is sharper in the center..if only the corners would be fixed.

Nearly all the Lumia Windows phones have camera blur at edges including my 720.

Because you need the 1020 Pureview ?

808 Pureview has a larger sensor (1/1.2"), More powerful flash (4 meter range), More dpi (300) and better post processing (reall colors and zero noise) !

Smaller sensor (1/1.5"), less powerful flash (3 meters), less dpi (72) and postprocessing bad as 1020 could be better ?

If BSI sensor and OIS, were photographic quality assurance, 920 and One would be the best cameraphones the world !

When in fact They are among the worst in the class !

In summary: 808 Is Still King Of Cameraphones !!!
