just to put things in perspective, that fella posted several unfounded negative comments about the z3 even before he had the chance to hold it. the folks here ignored him. a number of times. just accept that other esato members can only tolerate him up to some extent.
it's more immature commenting on a supposedly stupid discussion while actually adding to the stupid discussion. just learn to ignore if you don't find the discussions sensible. it's just a few swipes or clicks away.

don't give me that shiz about following my own "lecture" because i'm not being a hypocrite. i did not ask anyone to stop expressing their opinions. i just advised people to ignore.
yes, i'm adding to the stupid discussion with this comment but at least i'm not contradicting myself like that preachy non-sony-fan who keeps defending his brethren in the sammyland religion.

i'm not sure but it's from a "sonyfan" website so who knows what kind of magic they did to make the z3 look superior. haha.
i think the viewing angles are not as good as the iphone's (based on the 3zc display below) but straight-on view really looks amazing. this must be what sony said when they decided to shift to "cool whites." the display looks really great when captured by cameras.

It was already proved by 2 reviews that Z3 series has strange calibration applied and that without manual calibration of RGB it will have over saturated colors (in this pictures you can see that there is too much red). Viewing angles on that picture look really good.
It reminds of the times when in compact cameras they put a lot of red on the jpeg's to make them look nicer (thankfully they changed that).

I'm getting really tired of those forums. Samsung or Sony, it makes no difference - if you don't agree with the majority you are either a hater or a fanboy from the other side. Is this the level of discussion we have evolved into?

It's the level of discussion you should avoid to stoop down into. And it's the same on the other threads, Samsung fanboys, Apple fanboys, etc. Obviously, majority of the people here (or at least that's what I think) are Sony fans. But, see, there are the rational ones and the blind ones. It's the blind ones that you should avoid getting in an argument with, because there are lots of them, you won't win and it will just frustrate you. Best you could do is to just keep your mouth shut until one of those rational ones open up about the flaws of the company they love and their products. Then join in the discussion, just avoid being a bit too carelessly harsh on your words otherwise the blind ones will attack you.

All Z3 series came with vivid color and normal display mode. maybe due to vivid mode it has more saturation and puncy color...Most of the reviewer website doesnt mention about this display mode

the Z3 compact takes the wrong focus here. almost always. it focuses on the background while the foreground is blurred out.
also, the z3c low light shots are very blurry here.
