" The Sony Xperia 1 II (mark 2) will be updated within a period of time after the release. The update will add the following features:
- Added eye tracking focus function for 16mm ultra wide-angle lens.
- Added low-light high-sensitivity shooting to the 24mm standard lens, which can obtain 1.5 times the sensitivity of X1.
- Movie masters will add 2K 120 frames and 4K 60 frames video shooting capabilities.
Again they will ship without all features. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

What's wrong with adding features after release? I am happy with that. I will be annoyed if they remove features after they release the phone!

Sony stated will release update soon after release. And if the review never stated you can comment and get those people informed ~

No worries. Only the very early release batch will have this update, the rest will come preloaded with the update. Reports are conflicting, some say it's Japan Docomo version that will be first to be released others say UK/DE/FR/NORDIC are first in the line instead.

My Sony W830 arrived yesterday. 20.1MP 1/2.3" 25 - 200mm.
I still have to check pics on PC, but it seems to be pretty impressive.
I has an option called DRO. I think 1 ii has too for Photo Pro.
I am not sure , but think it means DR Optimizer.
WB did not change to punchy colours like phones do when they boost HDR.

I believe HDR is Xperia answer to Alpha divisions DRO .but DRO has few different levels.

I remember someone here said newer phones would have 100% exmor. But they do not.
Today a petition was created to show Samsung people want only Exmor and Snapdragon.
People show do same and demand Sony to use only exmor on all devices.
