I called the SE Eshop in the UK and asked about the Z1010. When I called at the beginning of May they said it should be here in June. Today they have told me they are not releasing it sim-free as it does not function very well with the GSM/GPRS networks and it will only be released tied to a network. Initially it will be 3 and others may follow. The sales girl commented that if it was sold sim-free, any of the customers on the major 4 networks would probably experience considerable problems with the phone and return them. She said there may be updated 3G , as well as conventional phones in time for Xmas, though they have no details or info. The K700 should be released Week 26 and the attention is currently directed at that model and it's big brother the s700.

@sunnychad Well makes sense, like I posted before I had serious problems with the 2G network and my 1010. It could never keep a single and seemed to be a real pain on T-mobile. I have finally switched to 3 and I can say that its so much better. The battery thoughh...mmmm Thats becoming a bit of a little bother I guess thats the price of 3g.
I am wondering if I switch the 3g part of and just let it run on GSM how the battery will perform. I know that sounds silly.
@Vanquish I bought my Z1010 from Ninja and if you going to ask how much I suggest you ask him.....
If you guys have any questions then drop a line I will try and answer as much as possible. I know most of the answers have been posted anyway on this forum.
At the moment though the 3 Main page (Today on 3) that doesnt work at all with the Z1010 browser, I am guessing thats what is causing the delay. I managed to find the correct URL address to some of the other services but still has problems. I have configured the phone 100% correctly (Made a few video calls).
But I do hope it comes out on 3 for the sake of you guys I am sure you will be well impressed.

@themarques - so what's the score on the battery life? For me the T610 has an average battery life, say full charge on Monday morning, needs to be charged on Tuesday evening after regular usage. How is the Z1010 running on full 3G? I await your response EAGERLY!!!
The other thing is the girl at SE said the phone is massive, abosolutely humoungous. Much much bigger than one can appreciate from the pictures on the site etc. So how big does it feel? A comparison to the P800/900 and NEC E616 will probably give a good indication. Does it fit in the front pocket of a pair of jeans?
Finally weight? Is it well balanced, does it feel solid or what?
