Hey fellow Canadians
Does anyone know of another forum/post (or any website for that matter) that explains in detail how to use the GPRS of the phone on a laptop, either through the service cable or blue tooth. I guess I should mention I use the W810i and Rogers is my carrier
Thanks for any info

There is plenty of info about that right here. If you do a good search something will come up.

you might be able to find the answers in this thread, if not a quick search might give you a more concise answer

Hey Punks!
A Waterloo, Ontario born Vancouverite here.
I just switched to Rogers Wireless here in Van-City, and purchased a shiny new unlocked SE-K810i. Trouble is, since it's unlocked, none of the MMS settings are inputted into the phone.
The SE website has a MMS setup wizard, but it's not working and I'm not receiving the text message installer from them. Text messages work fine on my phone, so I think it's their server.
Anyhow, I've called Rogers Wireless AND SE to ask how to set it up, either of which really didn't help (to an extent).
Rogers sent me text messages of the settings, but I'm not sure how I go abouts putting them into my phone, as I have to create profiles everywhere and link the profiles and whatnot.
So any fellow K810 users know how to setup the MMS through the menus?
Here are the settings that Rogers sent me:

Any help would be greately appreciated!

Ignore & delete what Rogers sent you. First is the K810 an 850Mhz capable device? If not you just lost out on EDGE as EDGE on Rogers is restricted to 850Mhz (very VERY few towers across the country use 1900Mhz for EDGE), sorry.

Hi,
I just started using my iPhone on Fido (unlimited plan). Love it.
One thing doesn't work: voicemail notification SMSs. Apparently bec they are short codes and iPhone has trouble dealing with this?
http://www.howardforums.com/s[....]ighlight=fido+voicemail+iphone
Any advice or workarounds?

Hey! I recently unlocked and debranded my SE k850i. I'm currently running on the 037 firmware, which is running well thus far. I purchased and the phone from Rogers - now that I've debranded, all of Rogers applications are gone. No vision or rogers browser. Is there anyway to get these features back?
Can anyone provide assistance with setting up WAP and MMS on my SE k850i?
I've read the posts above, but I don't quite understand what to do...
