OK, thats me totally confused! Since the upgrade to 1.28 I don't know what I'm doing!
It looks like I can't upgrade to R2L anymore and do I no longer need to go through the decustomisation process before I start? I have a Vodafone customized fone with R2A041.
Can anyone help me out please? It seems like the the orginal guide that seemed so useful is no longer relevant?

To remove customization:
1. Select DEFAULT page.
2. Select DEFAULT LANGUAGE FIRMWARE for your phone (that you downloaded from Download area... file extension *.K7D
3. Select FIRMWARE for your phone if the phone's firmwareversion differs from DEFAULT LANGUAGE VERSION...(Download area... file extension *.K7S)
With this method all user data will be cleare and you will end up with only English T9.

Please can you clarify another thing:
If you decustomize your phone usin DEFAULT page, you loose user data and T9 languages, right? If you do the NORMAL page flash afterwards will you get back the T9 languages?

yes, but that way you are not decustomizing your phone...

can you so tell me which files I finally need to Unbrand my voda branded (swisscom) and keep my t9 dictionnary *FRENCH* even if I m loosing my datas (sms, contacts and other...I've a backup) MAAAANY thanks

NO, NO, No Pro... Let's wait for analog to show up as I didn't have a chance to use TS yet. As far as I understand you are not able to DECUSTOMIZE your phone and keep T9 languages, but maybe if you after DECUST. make the regular flash it will work... Just wait a bit...

K700_R2AA003_EU1 for the language.
With he phone switched OFF I clicked on 'Flash' and the appllication told me to 'Press on in the phone'. So I switched the phone on and nothing further happened.
Any ideas what might have caused this? Am I supposed to start with the phone turned on?
