Where do I go to check some of the other reviews? Is there only one winner?

Tsepz
Just read three more N8 reviews and this one I found a very pleasant read. #zagoma took the short and sweet route and it is very effective..
http://www.micordotonline.com/product-reviews
The other two sucked. (Paulo_Archie_GP & zyler) You've got their numbers.
Can you imagine if you win.A free N8.Wow.Didnt know much about the handset.Didnt care much for Symbian. But when you start reading about the hardware that N8 carries, you cant help but be impressed.
Thats where you did a great job.
Who knows what RSANokia are looking for though.
Its anyones game.(except those 2 (I mentioned earlier)
Taking photos of phones resting on a opened up newspaper. What the hell.

After 3+ years of heavy P1i use (hayibo..where does time go?!) , I've been seemingly retrogressive here, but the handset that I seemed destined to get over a year ago I have now purchased. Yup, I know it's old hat, a platform that is very much passe in the wake of Android etc etc, but I've just bought a Nokia 5800 at a price I couldn't refuse. Brand new for £165 (approx R1700)!

Er... P1i pic:

I was also considering the N900, as there are very few smartphones with both integrated stylus and decent cam with auto-focus and both are very much top priorities for me. I'm not bothered with it being a 3.2mp item a la the P1i.

I'll still keep the P1i with another sim card in it, which has other PAYG perks.

Thing is, I'm also getting myself a Fujifilm Finepix S2500HD with 18x optical zoom and HD video recording next week, which is on special at one of the online shops here for £140 (approx R1500) so the cost of both the camera and new smartphone is the same as a N900 or N8..

Yeah and with the 3 bikes taking a few shekels to run and insure each month, I've got to strike a balance with things. I'm sure I'll be happy with the 5800, although I'm missing the P1i's scrollwheel already...
Still, there's some nice touches (excuse pun) to this smartphone. I'm a happy wanqa.

Thanks boet. Ya squeeze out indeed. There's the same low light 'noise' (blue granular bits) when I activated the camera in the house earlier, very much like the N73 and 6500 Slide that I bought for a family member, but I'll check which f/w it's on and take it from there. Not too bothered with this though, as it's an excuse to experiment with settings etc to get the most out of it and the P1i's still around as well.
The P1i's 3.2mp cam may still hold some cards with some macro and low light options, but it's not fair to judge until I've put it through its paces properly.
But yeah, I'm going to have some fun eeking what I can out of that li'l cam module.
