Hello all,
Just upgraded to R1GB001 via SEUS a few hours ago.
I have the APAC version.
Since upgrading to R1GB001, the Phonebook Multi-character bug has been fixed.
The internet button launches the browser instantly upon clicking it though. NO 2-seconds delay.

You can manually download the files and try to flash it.

got to my account and login
you will have an option to download the files and it will show you the credits left as well, download the files and put it in the flas folder which would have been created in the folder from where your launching the wotanclient.exe

Hi anyone can send me older wotan client? The 09.970 always exit with error just after finished updating from eagle.wotanserver.com ftp. I tried it in 3 different computer and all has the same problem. Thanks very much!

I definately didn't have it on my previous firmware because I always leave the view as the 3x3 thumbnails and I could play my music videos no problem but now on this firmware I have to switch the view to the crappy list view or else hovering over any of my music videos causes the phone to hang then reboot!
I have explored extensively and there is no option to turn off this thumbnail preview, which sucks!
Yes, Wotan's modification of the internet button remains the same (i.e. pressing it will launch the browser). They have also fixed the Memory Status option for the Application and Games folders. They now report the correct amount of disk space occupied.

The video quality might be a bit too high (i.e. the bitrate). I've noticed many of my larger MP4 videos which I have encoded to 320x240 in high quality using M3 cause the thumbnail preview to crash, then reboot the phone. The previewer seems to work best on 3GP videos but you do get a loss of quality compared with MP4. The other thing you can do is change the view mode from 3x3 thumbnails to list view.

Hi, I just plugged my K800i 5 minutes ago to SEUS and it said that I had new firmware available, that is APAC. I think SEUS has released the new R1GB001 for us....unfortunately my internet connection is very very bad today...I don't think that I'll be updating my phone any fast. The Taiwan quake effect or perhaps the busy overloaded SEUS. I am trying to update now. It may take hours then. I hope it will be successful.....hm....I'll be back with the improvements later...wish me luck.
