Im home! @ rob. I get no pop ups when reason comes on nor anything playing u have to select play to hear any sound :-) GOD DARM I HATE PC'S!!! :-l

Nooo kerry what i mean is when u start reason it should have lots of devices open e.g DrREx Loop player,mixer that sort of ting.
But anyway i had to go into reason pref menu to select empty rack (no devices)
so when u start reason all u get is a blank page which says for the name of project 'Document 1' (which is top left of page)
Then u right click to open device like the loop player.
If u goto Edit>preferences>General it will have a box which says:
'default song' make sure it's set to 'empty rack'
I'm just trying to see what your seeing
