i have just went to the store to check of they have gotten the xperia z1 yet... no luck, but then i saw the sony XBR-65X900A (4K TRILUMINOS) and i was like that:
that is the most beautiful piece of technology that i have ever seen in my life!!

Just set up the return with Clove, going to ship my phone back tomorrow. Hope that there won't be a problem with my exchanged unit.....

At least no one would say it has got bad viewing angle and lacks in 4k display.
The comparison between the Z1 and 1020 is probably the best one I have seen yet.
My vote goes to the 1020 for cleaner shots, whereas the Z1 produces more dynamic pictures in most cases.
Although the 1020 wins, I wouldn't be sad because most of the shots by Z1, are really great.

I saw a working z1 a while ago. It was great and so premium looking.
In comparison to screen of my ultra, ultra is better but z1 is not that bad at all. Great improvement in comparison to xperia z.
I made a comparison in chrome icon between ultra and z1, the red color in ultra is deep red but in z1 is lightesh red.
