That's true Wanqs, i didnt consider that, WP already has the developers, app store, office and internet facilities built-in, so it wont cost Nokia too much join, and they wont have to start right from the beginning, not to mention MS control OS updates and internal hardware (Memory chips and CPUs), so it's all there already, it may just work VERY WELL as we all know Nokia make excellent hardware (Camera, RF, display etc...), so it could be a great match.
Htc could be in trouble, but they have such short announcement-to-release periods that they may be a big problem to Nokia, it's going to be very interesting, there's no predicting what will happen.
Windows Phone will be Nokia's primary OS:

Its a big change Tsepz in the mobile arena and I think we need something out of the ordinary to excite us again (things are getting a bit boring imo) Microsoft Windows 7 also needs a bit of a liftoff and who better than to fuel the whole thing than Nokia, the Giant.
I'm excited about the marriage

Tell me, how many volumes and vibrate alerts does the X10 have?
The P990i and P1i have these extremely wonderful volume/vibrate alert settings that I love and use very often and I'm hoping SE hasn't changed that.
You get completely separate volume and vibrate alert options for calls, messages, emails and alarms.
When I'm really, really tired before going to bed at night I turn off message sounds and their vibrate alert leaving only for calls. This is very helpful. Basically, I can turn either the volume or the vibrate alert or both of calls, messages, emails and alarms.
Another question, does the Android market have an application to limit who calls you. The P1i comes with an option called 'Accept calls' where I choose who comes through when they call, everybody not on that list is rejected. This is an old Ericsson feature that I use every night when I go to sleep, only family gets through when I'm sleeping.
Thanks!
The Nokia developments probably made you guys to miss the above.
I'd appreciate your response.

Its been great, only issue is that the Android2.2 browser is a battery guzzler when web browsing via EDGE and HSDPA, so i found Opera Mini5 Beta, which is the one that actualy liked b4 the Opera Team made it worse.
I love how fast the Camera is, i just got back from the Pharrell Williams & N*E*R*D concert at Standard Bank Arena half an hour ago, and my X10 was a star when taking a few pics, Camera popped up in no time and pics were taken fast with absolutely no delay. The battery life was great, despite the odd Tweet, Pic take, a few calls and sms it only dropped 8% in just over 7hours, very happy so far, but i am going to update to the new version of Cyanogen released yesterday, today (sunday) for the camera and other minor improvements.
How about you?
Dups
Sorry we missed that. Android has different volumes, yep:
Vibrate is down to each app e.g. SMS, call, facebook, twitter etc... all you can do in each turn it on/off for that specific app, is that what you were looking for?

Agree! I never laughed so hard for a long time. What's next?
@Tsepz
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. Those volume and vibrate settings are very handy for me on the P1i.
What about call filtering? Can one get an app in the market that lets you reject certain calls or does the X10 also come with the 'Accept calls' pre-installed as in the P1i?

No problem
I'm not sure if what i'm seeing in Call Settings is part of the custom ROM tweaks or a standard Android2.2+ feature as i am seeing the option to Blacklist, but otherwise there is indeed a free app called Blacklist in the Market that allows blocking sms and calls from numbers in the list.
