Lets not be too harsh on avmaxfan. Mistyakes happen. The announcements are on SEs discretion. Theres nothing avmaxfan could have done. Lets just wait for the official specs and decide for ourselves.

they sound very entertaining, although i don't understand a word that is being said lol

1. The supposed "leak" about the docomo lineup was notaccurate
2.
isn't yet done testing the devices
3.
discovered some bugs which need to be rectified
4.
do not want a long gap between announcement and release to avoid strong competition

You have to take in mind that:
1) Android 2.3 isn't even out yet, not even the SDK which comes out first
2)
will not be the OEM to make the first 2.3 device
3) Since it won't be the first one, they will have to wait until the first device rolls out (which is believed to be the Samsung Nexus S/Two) which will most likely be before the end of the year
