OMFG guys please tell me Intel's next gen Atom is a candidate for Q4 phone!?

Monstrous!
@Detox; yes, so I think there is a chance that Qualcomm slightly revises clocks on S4 like Nvidia did with Tegra 3.

2.70GHz? Lolno. The thermal throttling in a smartphone-sized application would be stupid. Anandtech already showed that Exynos 5 Dual from the Nexus 10 is unsuitable for smartphone applications due to the ridiculous power draw (hence the need for BIG.little setups).
I presume this is primarily for tablets and such.

Well isn't A50 arhitecture planned for '14 (like that Intel stuff i was referring to) around 3Ghz as well?

I'm not sure. Probably. The advantage that ARM has though, is that its almost an universal standard in the smartphone and tablet arena. Even Apples and Qualcomms cores are based on the ARM v7 instruction set. Plus the BIG.Little setup, which I don't think Intel has.
Lowering clock speeds could be a solution but again, why bother with having to change Android's coding so it works on x86, when you can just get ARM-based architecture.

I guess I like that black back over this mirror one. At least currently based off those new pics. That's why I need to wait til next week for a final judgement. I usually always love Sony's unique approach to designs.

@Rog
Like the T/TX vs V, what would you prefer, Yuga or Odin? Practicality over everything else?
