Don't know what anyone else thinks as I haven't read beyond this post but the Z1 in my humble opinion is superior in every one of those pictures - for a novice like me it's glaringly obvious JMO and I'm not an expert - but if I was an expert I wouldn't be taking pictures with a camera in a phone

I made a comparison in chrome icon between ultra and z1, the red color in ultra is deep red but in z1 is lightesh red.
Interesting.. i should go to the store and compare.. i think they have ZU's there now.

So, I compared it to the icon on my XS and you're right. Even my XS ha a darker/deeper red than my Z1. So, i thought that was strange so i changed the backgrounds and stuff cause colors can shift due to its surroundings. Still the same. So then i looked in the app drawer and i noticed the youtube icon on Z1 is the same deep dark red as the chrome icon red on XS. weird. Is your youtube icon on your ZU darker than your chrome icon? if so, that would explain things.. but if they're the same.. it doesn't make much sense..

An update on battery, for those worried with the numbers GSM arena had, don't be. The battery life is very good, with constant updates to fb, google, twitter and what not, it doesn't really affect the battery life that much, same for the 3G signal unlike my S2 which well had poor battery life, even with the 2000mAh extended battery. I feel GSM arena should redo their review with a production unit and then see how it is.

first one is 8mp manual with manual ISO at 50.
second one is 20mp manual zoomed in using the 3x clear zoom. As you can see, there is a difference.. or i was shaking more on the 2nd one cause i didn't want this massive thing jumping on me.

Some Dutch website says the reason why LG G2 last longer than z1 is because it uses 2 cores at maximum capacity while G2 uses all four, what do you guys think? o.o

and i suppose it would be possible.. but i would say it's unlikely. why buy a SoC with 4 cores and program your system to only use 2 at max capacity? doesnt' make sense
