@786KBR,
You're right up to date with current pricing;
I presume you have seen the current special (www.thelink.com),where the Vodafone branded PAYG K700 is going for a measly £69.99.However,this is on condition that you trade in any old brick.Rounding off the exchange rate equates to just under R840,as you quoted.
If you don't trade in,the cost is £79.99.
Did you see that K700 price on any other site?

The Motorola V547 is also going at the same price at the mo.
The P910i is holding its price a bit better over time,costing £349.95 sim-free at www.mobilefun.co.uk.

Unfortunately all PAYG cellphone brands are network branded in the UK,including the Finnish phones.
One can always fork out a bit extra for sim-free...
As the old saying goes,you pays yer money...

A buddy who's in advertising mentioned to me earlier that some of their client companies are starting to think along the lines of wapsites... They're running a competition at some institutions to get the 18-25 perspective on its viability... High time too, methinx... This message was posted from a Nokia

Three years ago,there was hardly any good signal in the craggy Klein Karoo surroundings around Montagu.
Busy collecting a few special bottles of wine for some Pom colleagues,and I've almost got full signal in parts around here,thanks to a new tower erected here nearly 2 years ago,according to the locals.What a difference.
BTW,congrats to the Boks.Not often that the Aussies get beaten in 4 consecutive matches..

Rhino8: Thanks for that hook-up...downloaded the file but when I try to change the language preference it gives me an error message...we live in hope. Finally configured my Vodacom sim for POP 3 email via hotpop.com. Also got to congratulate the Boks for finally beating the convicts at home albeit Perth which is packed with chicken-run expat South Africans. This message was posted from a K700i
