I love UT2004, just pissed off of the freezing issue that I (and loads of other people) have in single player. Im running a 2.4Ghz Athlon rig with a gig of RAM, a 9800 Pro and a SATA HDD ffs, you'd think it would run well on that

I've tried it at stock,(Omega Cat 4.4s and ATi Cat 4.4s) same problem, I've tried an actual 9800 Pro in the system, same problem, and my mates system is also doing it.
The frame rate is high, it just freezes occasionally (screen does, stuff is still happening tho as I can hear me getting shot etc) and when it unfreezes, I've moved as I was moving at the time of freeze
Theres hundreds of people with different rigs on the Atari forums with the same problem, and theres also some possible fixes, (turning off precaching of skins etc for one) but none of them seem to work on mine or my mateys
