im in tamil nadu, chennai. ican able to connect free airtel gprs but page is not loading and incomming data is not comming.. please solve this problem.

have you discovered the same for any otherservice provider too?
My set is a nokia 6070 and doesnt offer the port setting etc and the only thing avail is the APN.
port setting and IP address is avail in IE explorer>tools>connectivity under proxy sev ,will it do if its entered there?

This f**K**g Gtel now start a new rule that if you call Customer Care 5 times in a day then they will block your call for one month to call CC. I cant make call to CC from last few days and now when I call with my friend's cell they informed me about this they said I did 5 times so the system blocked my call but I didnt do really all day the system hold my call saying it is transfering the call for long time but never transfered really but maybe they count that 5 times all inclusive. We guys are so nice that we are F**K**G GTEL with free GPRS downloading and they really deserve it. I request all forum members to please protest for this. They said I cant make call to C but I can SMS my query to them they will respond in 24 hrs but from last 3 days they never respond. So I had fight with the executive in CC. I was NOP customer and for that I needed technical assistance at downtime and I cant access yahoo, hotmail or gmail but I couldnt reach them so I fought with them with all this and finally said to disconnect my service if I cant get technical assistance immedietly whenever I needed it.

@manoj its really a pathetic situation regarding such policy and attitude of airtel. I wonder what makes them india's number 1 mobile phone company.
If you can post an email address of a higher authority in the airtel hierachy and also in trai. In this way every1 affected can reach them.
I extend my full support to you regarding this.

@shivam dude thats because airtel has blocked the user agent for opera. . . The only way to get opera to work is by changing the user agent. . . . Unfortunatly there is no option to do that in opera 9.02. . . . Thankfully Jingboyx has managed to change the user agent by modifying the opera.ini file and thereby providing us with a wonderful crack to screw airtel again. . . Heres the link its a .Rar extract it and replace it with the old opera.Ini in your program files opera folder. . .

tell me that is u hav altered any setting in ur browser n in which browsers u hav tried this? is it only in opera and what thing u had used for changing user-agent? is it http-intercepter or u had manually changed it . try manually changing UA in IE AND MOZILLA.

@Shivam, Dear changing User agent in Firefox 1.5 is working fine with the Addons posted on this sites that addon user agent changer doesn't work with new Firefox 2.0. To work with Opera and IE better go for HTTP Intercepter that easy to configure and very nice working with me. If need any help ask me I will help dear.
