@jake20
Yeah those shots you took above seems to be overly saturated.

Is there any difference between the en.lng Alexins's provided and the original DM3.8's one?

Is it normal for my photo to be like so black when I set manual shutter speed to -2.0 (on the ev+/-) or I am doing something wrong?

Picture #1
Exposure time: 1/3200 sec
Exposure bias: -2 step (this -2 was for the manual shutter speed to work right?)
ISO speed: ISO-400 (was set as AUTO)

Picture #2
Exposure time: 1/20 sec
Exposure bias: +2 step
ISO speed: ISO-64 (was set as AUTO)

@bryan84
you have it backwards.. -2 is for a fast shutter and will let less light in (dark picture).. +2.0 will make shutter time longer, and let more light in.

@alexins

The same issue happens... i am going to upload a video and then i post it here to show... It only happens with D.M. 2.8 driver. I have already tryed cybershot Xperience and it works beautifuly... no breaks in the image while changing the focus during record...

@skylow,
you seem to be the only one this is happening to. I have no issues with manual focusing when taking still shots or videos.

Here are the video demonstrations... Cybershot Experience also crashes a litle, but less than DM 3.8... DM 3.8 has a better image quality...

So what do you suggest?

Dak Magician 3.8 Beta, or the edited vesion of 3.8?

I can't seem to be able to take high MB files with the edited version?

@superleeds27
The two versions are really good, with a lot of manual settings.
The only thing is that they are still beta versions, not final versions.
In image quality, both are really good, and better than the others.
You have to try them both and see what photos you like more...

I really think I like Alexin's modified version of DM3.8, but sadly he seem to have broken the manual shutter option.
If he can fix this, I think it would be our best driver to date.

I like the extra color saturation he has added in this driver.
I am also getting huge file sizes now.. some of my 5mp shots are coming in at around 3MB now!
