@Piecan ROOT means that you have ie administrator login on your phone, beein able to edit system files/and change settings like cpu-speed that SE never intended you to. Also the ability to change the frameworks (something that can give you new colors of you arc theme) this is just examples. but basicly you can edit what ever you like at your own risk (root is not that important for the normal user thou)

Thanks very much Skibbe, I don't think that sounds like something I would need to do. Unfortunately in the time between me posting I've had a phone call from Tesco informing me they've made a mistake they don't have the phone to sell as they listed it in error and I'm getting a refund. Oh well back to my trusted W995 again.

Guys I have another question:

When I go to Apps management I see video edit app.

But it's NOWHERE IN THE MENU.

So how can I access it?????

EDIT:
It's in the camera menu.

That doesn't look good. Have you tried a reinstall from SUES or a factory reset?

I think it's Handcent causing your arc go berserk! Uninstall it for a couple of days and see if you get that screen again!

@SKIBBE

I have experienced this bug as well. I have not installed any third party keyboard or SMS apps. I think it happen when the phone was about to change orientain and the power was switched off. You don't need to switch the phone off to fix this. Just drag the invisible lock slider down instead from left to right.

My Xperia Arc review is done
