From what I've read in various forums it would appear that the
SEUS update to R1GB001 changes your phone to CID51, but the
other provider updates (wotan etc) don't.
This could do with some clarification/confirmation ???
Mine was wotan'd to gb001 and stayed as CID49.
how do we know if our phone is CID49 or 51?

Still on R1CD001 on 3-UK
Maybe 3 will approve R1GB001 for their network.
Still odd how R1EJ001 was released via SEUS for their K610i on 3-UK, but no updates for the K800i.

Hi,
I have a k800 and i want to upgrade the firmware, I've read through some of these pages but it seem pretty confusing.
My phone is on orange and the firmware is r1cb001- i think?!
Please can some one explain the easiest way to ungrade it and what firmware is the best.
Thanks in advance.

Hei wopo, thanks for your PM! BTW, Aremaboy report that his EROM ver stays at R3A011. Funny, SE manage to upgrade EROM CID but does not really update it (version wise). How they do that? So even wotan/kulankendi now can't update k800 R1GB (EROM) anymore?
