So high was the bondage Sony/// could establish with their customers....10years ago!
Now they only surpass themselves in delaying, not delivering, failed products. It is a bit sad but such is life!

If the X10 successor is released in 2011 Q3, I don't think that
has a chance of recovering even a small part of the market share they lost in 2010. In fact their market share will drop again... Even though the PSP phone will have no competition, I don't think it will sell in huge amounts if it's not a real high end device.

Right now market share is the least of their concerns. Have you noticed that they've finally turned to profit this year? During the past 2 years they were holding on to their percentage shares they were constantly losing money. Big time.
What do you think is more important for a firm in SE's position - selling loads of phones or actually making money? It's all about priorities.
