I have just canceled my preorder!! I am sick and tired of all the delays and lies from S//E. For a while ago i promised my self that i would cancel my preorder if the P990 was delayed again - and look what happened! I will not wait anymore just to be told lies from S//E! They knew all the time that the P990 would not meet the 2 quarter mark - and then they told us july and that didn't happen either. Now they say august and after that comes september, oktober, nov......... argh - forget it! No P990 for me!

The conpany that you preodered from made a "preliminary" release date, not SE.

I just bought one off an unidentified electronics dealer at Comic Con in San Diego last night. I saw he had some Sony Ericsson press folders in one hand, so I came up and asked him about a release date. Before I know it, he says if I want one to follow him. Guy was very very hush hush, had to drive from the convention, 9 blocks up to his hotel room to buy it. Ran me 900 dollars US. I told him I would need to sit in his suite and test it for about 30 minutes. He said that was fine, and he'd show me just how everything worked.
I whipped out my old P900 and he shut up.
42 minutes later, I walked out with the whole package. Box, desk stand, car charger, manuals, extra stylus, earbuds, flip removal system etc. I was saving all my quid to buy a Superman Returns poster autographed by the entire cast and Bryan Singer. But...I think I made the better choice. Pictures to follow on Sunday. It's not buggy. It just take a realllllly long time to load from the startup animation.

I recon you asked how he got hold of them (how many did he have?), but what was his reply??? Or is that something you don't discuss during drug-de.., I mean phone-deals
Looking forward to the photos and a short review from one of the first P990-owners of the world!
