Did a reinstall today, all contact's seems to be able to link to facebook again.

But my gameloft game saves was all gone (did save the gameloft folder) but no save in the game showed so like 10-15h gameplay in let's golf 2 is gone.. and all my progress in N.O.V.A...

i guess the profiles/progress is saved on the phone memory? sucks not beein able to reinstall your phone without losing gameprogress specially when you have put so many hours in it

With regards to batery drain, some users over at XDA believe it could be camera/gallery related... So maybe some of you can test battery drain after a fresh boot without using the camera app and compare it to a fresh boot with the camera app open...

It is 100% camera. 3 days without and 3-7% per hour after use it. Even with stoped process in task manager.

It's being shown around within Sony Ericsson at the moment. I believe they are trying to keep the gap between announcement and launch to a minimum, unlike their usual horrible 6 month gaps which can be typical of them.

I tired that with O2 in Ireland, and they said ok leave !!
O2 are loosing customers here to beat the band and they dont seem to want to do anything about it

Hiya, are you trying to get an Arc from O2 Ireland unlocked? Interested to hear your story as I was thinking to get one from them but need it unlocked as it's used across two countries. Drop me a PM if you like. Thanks, Dus.

for everyone thats interested, just tried the gingerbreak method of rooting the arc and it works perfectly. here's how

so now we can root the arc without unlocking the bootloader for those that wish so.

Battery drain definitely seems to be to do with using the camera. It must be the module not shutting down properly.

I use the camera quite a few times yesterday and my battery only lasted 1 day. Previously I'd be getting 3 - 4 days out of the phone without touching the camera.

I suppose the only workaround is to reboot the phone or grin and bear the battery drain if you need to use the camera. Fingers crossed for a quick update from SE to fix this.
