@ rickster2kuk - im using R1AA008 firmware, with camera software v4.5

IMO the K750i's still photo quality has never changed since the original launch firmware. Ive always had the same amount of noise, comparative file sizes and results from different camera software versions. I think SE have only updated the video quality in terms of raw quality since they downgraded it back in June to help the phones stability, and reinstated it back in September. I just think the difference in still photo software is its simply fasther to process the image captured only, and not to do with image quality.

@ staline - thanks.

@ Prom1 - people have already said that i must photoshop some of my pictures. I always tell them however that i never alter the raw image, i post it directly from my phone and never touch it up or remove any noise. I dont believe in artificial alterations.

I reckon my pictures just look good because they're hosted by Flickr, who resize pictures down to make them easier to share. Because they're resized down, they look sharp. Flickr also displays the EXIF data of any picture you upload, so you can check out the settings i used to get good results. You can check out all of my pictures hosted on Flickr by going here: http://flickr.com/photos/etaab

@ masterbotter - believe it or not, i wasnt actually all that impressed by those pictures i posted when i first took them, they all seemed a little pale. Basically i took all those pictures early on Saturday morning, around 11am. Being January the sun tends to rise later meaning its very bright as it breaks over the moors. The best way to take pictures on days like that is to set your phones white balance to daylight, and keep your back to the sun. Then simply adjust the brightness using the joystick if necessary and hold very still until the picture is captured. Hope that helps.

@ nick774 - great snow picture, very atmospheric.

And heres a video of those birds:

@victorh017
Thanks!

here is a nother one that turned out very well, most other photos have "noise" but extremely bright conditions seem to help a lot

ps I would doubt the authenticity of these photos had I not taken them myself,lol

those pics can be achieve using K750, a good angle and lighting... plus a very steady hands...

in that case, he/she uses the light of the sun... plus a good blue background... it can be achieved...

i think etaab told me that... well msmms pix are not that indifferent with those of etaab.

@ rockygali - well, the site that hosts that video (ZippyVideos) is pretty crap IMO.

It hosts the videos sure, but the site itself blows them up to a larger resolution, and streams them. I'd rather people be able to download them, but i cannot be bothered hosting them on another site which has a download limit or expiration limit. For some reason it also plays them in WMP, i'd rather view them in Quicktime, because either they're converted by the site, or their WMP has a plugin that allows it to play 3GP files.

Could not agree more. Extreme bright conditions help the K750i (and all cameraphones) no end. Even indoors the K750i is capable of very good pictures providing there is enough light, for example:
