hello voda next week
no,i;m only joking.or am i.
i'm all insane again.
You are indeed insane!
If you were a PC or phone we would be looking for some software for you to stop spending for things you hardly use
@Tsepz_GP
I have mellowed over the years, I suppose it is a good thing. I couldn't wait for new gadgets but now I can wait and wait till it makes no difference whether I get the thing or not.
I have to confess though, the Nozomi leak has got me intrigued.

@Tsepz_GP has your package arrived as yet?? I sent it on the 11th and they said upto 7 working days for delivery. So you should get it early next week if it has not already arrived. I always keep the reciept when I send something but I lost it still trying to find it. If I find the reciept I can track it.

Wait a minute! Hobbs, you are not the only one that needs a software for spending money on things you hardly use- Bonovox is
This man has had so many phone this year alone it is unbelievable! Exactly how many phones have you had since the beginning of the year, Bono?
By the way, masseur sent me a package some time in 2009 (if I remember correctly) and I received it around 2 weeks later. So, maybe you and Tsepz should give an allowance of another extra week.

the hp mini netbook i got from GAME, is worth R3000.i got it for R1999 because they defrauded me with an 'absolute winner' ad on their website that didnt exist but got me in their store.i spoke to the manager (more like screamed) and he agreed they were wrong.got R1000 off a netbook so i took the hp mini instead of the one that was on the 'absolute winner' ad.
its got to go
the x10 on the other hand i think is going to be a bit harder to sell.on gumtree cape town you have a couple new,never been used,still in the box going for R2500.00
they are all very unattractive ads though.pictures of the phone yanked off the internet and short (copy/paste) write ups.
i find that good photos taken of your product for sale and a good write up (personal) goes a long way when selling something on gumtree.
my iphone 3 went in 2 days after posting amid much better deals because my ad looked better.
i don't know if i want to part with the x10 though.
its been a fantastic phone with all the rom changing and modding ect.ive really learnt alot and have had a lot of fun.i sure tsepz would agreed with me that the x10 is a winner (or was a winner).

@Bono
In that case, I think you will have to enquire if it the package isn't delivered in within the specified one week. I am glad you finally found a phone that makes you content. I have to say that Samsung are really impressive with their S series phones.
@Hobbs
That wasn't a bad deal you got after letting the manager have it. That approach works almost every time. I haven't tried Gumtree before but I agree that a personal write-up and a real photo would make me want to take a look at the product than some picture taken off the web. Yeah, the SE phones drop quite substantially in value after a short period of time.

That's really generous of Bono, but Dups, I don't think Bono enquiring about the whereabouts will reveal anything concrete. Firstly, it'll take anything from 7-10 working days if you're lucky (some of you guys might remember when I posted all the Symbian Smartphone Show stuff a few years ago, before they moved the venue to the Netherlands last year or whenever it was.
Secondly, my understanding is (and I could be wrong here) is that the parcel can be tracked for the duration that it's in the UK, but they make no guarantees once it leaves the country, as it's obviously and completely out of Royal Mail's hands and therefore they cannot be held liable in any way. It may have 'signed-for/ recorded', but as mentioned, my understanding is that it's only trackable (recorded) when still on these shores. The signed-for status will be stipulated on the parcel, but whether or not that's adhered to when it gets there..
Good luck; I really hope Tsepz gets it at some point in the week ahead, unless some of the notorious elements in the SA postal services determine that there may be something of value in the package... Fingers crossed.

Indeed that's why I sent it via tracked signed for delivery rather than just a couple of stamps. It's the 3rd thing I have given away on Esato
I don't mind. If anyone still has a w995 I have an unused battery for that in my draw of spares & a white battery cover for the Xperia Play
